The latest budget tabled in the BC Legislature, yesterday, contains a $32 million increase for the Forests Ministry. Almost all of that will be used to address the timber permitting backlog.

The BC Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations has released the latest Forest Service Plan, also yesterday.
