Western Spruce-Pine-FIr KD 2x4 #2&Btr prices Dec 2019

A significant uncertainty for North American business owners was resolved Tuesday as Canada, the US, and Mexico signed the new trilateral trade agreement, the CUSMA. Full details will be revealed soon, and the new deal will take effect January 1, 2020.

Continuing flat, as last month, US softwood lumber production volume for January – September 2019 was 26,616 mmfbm.
Also like last month, softwood lumber production in Canada continued big drops since the beginning of this year, once more falling -11%, to 18,608 mmfbm, compared to the first nine months of 2018 when it was 20,889 mmfbm.
