This is down by -1.04%, or -$4.05, from the previous week when it was US$392.5
Interestingly, this week matches exactly with the same week in 2020.
The Chicago Mercantile Exchange has made a change to Lumber Futures.
On Monday, May 15 the traditional futures trading board is being retired, and the new futures (which was started a year ago) will be the only ticker. As such, there will be no historical comparison beyond mid-2022.
The Madison’s Lumber Prices Index is constructed using the same species as Futures (WSPF, ESPF, Douglas fir, Hem-Fir), with weighed averages based on the North America production volume ratio over the past few years.
