Pacific Pallet, western Canada’s largest pallet manufacturer, seeks Lumber Purchasing Manager in British Columbia
Responsibilities:
Purchasing lumber (largely utility, economy and #2 softwoods and some hardwoods)
Coordinating production with outside custom reman plants ensuring production levels and quality standards
Production scheduling, managing the company’s pallet assembly and repair operations
Working closely with other members of the management team to ensure outstanding product quality and superb customer service
Candidates may come from a background in lumber purchasing, lumber shipping, custom cut or remanufacturing.
