Lumber production by sawmills increasedย 3 per cent from September toย 5,312.7ย thousand cubic metres in October, said Statistics Canada Monday. Compared with Octoberย 2013, lumber production decreasedย 0.5 per cent.
Sawmills shippedย 5,328.5ย thousand cubic metres of lumber in October, an increase ofย 6.2 per cent from September.
