Conifex Timber, out of Vancouver, BC, signed a cooperation agreement on timber harvesting activities in the Mackenzie Timber Supply Area with Hixon, BC, sawmilling company Dunkley Lumber on 12 April, Conifex announced Friday. According to the terms of the agreement, Dunkley acquires 50 per cent of the shares in an undisclosed subsidiary of Conifex at a price of C$20 million. This subsidiary has felling licences for 300,000 cubic metres per year.
