Big drops in lumber prices last week were not enough to satisfy the supply-demand balance, so this week the wholesaler price of benchmark construction framing dimension softwood lumber item Western Spruce-Pine-Fir KD 2×4 #2&Btr, for the week ending June 18, 2021, dropped significantly yet again to US$1,048 mfbm (net FOB sawmill), down by -$227, or -$18, from last week when it was US$1,275.
