Madison’s Western S-P-F Lumber Prices June 19: sneak preview


The full Madison’s Lumber Reporter North America softwood lumber price list was updated as usual first thing this morning (Friday) Eastern time. Here is a SNEAK PEAK at benchmark Western Spruce-Pine-Fir (WSPF) prices:
Recovering well from big drops in April and May, for the week ending June 19, 2020, the wholesaler price of benchmark softwood lumber item Western Spruce-Pine-Fir KD 2×4 #2&Btr was US$394 mfbm, an increase of +$16, or +4%, from last week when it was US$378.
This week’s price is +$22, or +6%, more than it was one month ago. Compared to one year ago, this price is down -$8, or -2%.
